Disappointed - I have the same complaint as Be Carlin. You cannot transfer files from the recorder to your computer at all. It would be unfair to say that this is not mentioned at all on the product s page: it is written PC connection: No. But this is far from a clear indication that you will not be able to transfer your files at all. Apparently only the products of Olympus with the ending PC do so. Such an important detail, should have been made abundantly clear in the product s description. I feel deceived: with a few pounds more I could have got a much better product . Since I have opened the packet, I cannot return the product, and I am already thinking which relative or friend would be interested in a voice recorder:)
Does not work with osX, Linux or three versions of Windows - If you see USB interface in a product description you expect that you can at least plug it on to you PC and transfer files across. Maybe its going to come with some nice software that makes that easy so that you can synch the two together and keep it organised.I was really wrong. This product only works with the software supplied, end of story.If you re lucky you re going to be in the 75% range and it will be fine for you. Neither of my machines were, so unlucky for me. However in three or five years time when your current PC has died good luck getting the software to work with the next machine you buy.I m really annoyed about the lack of information before you buy about what it will and will not work with, so not even the glimmer of a star from me would be more accurate than 1 star.
Great voice recorder! - I have never used a digital voice recorder before so was very pleased to find this one so simple to use. The sound quality is great and it is nice and compact. Is suppled with the batterries so you can start using it immediately. Very pleased!

The recorder has space for over 30 recording hours on a good quality level. Files can be arranged into folders and transferred between sub folders.The actual machine is very light and small so it fits into a pocket easily. There are some really useful functions too e.g. you can set the recorder to only record when you are talking at a certain volume, so the recording is automatically stopped and started while you find your place or talk to someone else.Highly Recommended! Great Price!(when bought from amazon.co.uk - now sold from other companies though...)
